2015: My year-in review

It is that time of year where everyone takes a moment to reflect on the past year and I am no different. 

2015 was interesting. Becca Heuer Photography was named one of the 22 best photographers in Chicago, via expertise.com. What?! It was the year I got married to my best friend of eleven years and it was a year filled with immense personal and professional growth. It was the year I finally updated my website and blog. Thank goodness! I took on less weddings to make time to plan my own—which I did—yet somehow packed in more family and love sessions. All in all, it was a pretty amazing year and I am thankful for all of the couples and families that trusted Becca Heuer Photography to document it all. It is no light task, but I am up for it and am forever grateful. 

I have also been ramping up for what is looking like one of my best years yet. I'll be at IndieWed in February and have a few other things up my sleeve. I have to say, 2016 is looking pretty exciting with weddings on the East coast and several amazing weddings in the Chicagoland area. Yay!
