A 2023 review: So. Much.Love

2023 is the year that stretched me even further than I thought possible… and it turns out, I loved it. I was the busiest I have ever been and for that, I am grateful. Your support means the world.

In 2023, I was lucky enough to continue photographing SO. MUCH. LOVE. I photographed your proposals, your engagements, your elopements, your wedding days and all of the sweet moments in between that I adore so much. While I didn’t travel for weddings this year, I loved finding new spots in Chicago to explore and photograph in. In the end, I am sentimental hearted and when I think about these photos getting passed down for generations, I have to pinch myself. Really.

I met so many people this year, both couples and vendors. I got to explore new cultures through your wedding plans and I even got to see you in your rawest moments and make art from it. This work is meaningful. This work is important. I don’t take that lightly. Perhaps it is my age showing or my empathic nature, but thank you for letting me into your lives. My heart is full.

Time to buckle up. This is a long post, but if you have been here for awhile, you know I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thanks for being here.

That is a wrap! You made it. If you stuck around all the way to the end, thank you! If you were part of my 2023 photography season, I appreciate you so much.

If you are looking for your photographer, it is nice to meet you. Say hello!
