My 2024, in review: All the love
Hey, hey! My review is finally here!
In 2024, I traveled to Northern Michigan, one of my favorite places, to photograph some dear friends get married along the edge of Lake Michigan. I traveled all over the city and suburbs to tell your beautiful stories. You will spot a Morton Arboretum wedding that was followed by a pizza party, proposals by the riverwalk and the Garfield Park Conservatory, a super intimate Evanston backyard brunch wedding, a stunning lofty Bridgeport Art Center wedding with late night paletas, we wandered through Naperville forest preserves with you and even had a wedding at Solemn Oath Brewing that included a tandem bike. A TANDEM BIKE! Sorry for yelling, but whoa. I just adored you all and had the best time through it all. Thank you for trusting me and my vision, again. I am forever grateful.
Oh! I started bringing film back into my workflow this past year. Fun fact, I started my photography journey before digital photography was even a thing. Learning on film was the only option and I used to develop in a dark room. A true art that I have missed. Having it back in my life has been really lovely and while I am only doing this for fun with my little Holga camera for now, I am excited to see where this goes. Embracing something a little less perfect, including light leaks, that grainy goodness and accidental double exposures is the goal. And, having this opportunity to play again has been good for the soul. Some of those photos are sprinkled in below.
It was another year of absolute sweetness and beauty. Another year of pinching myself that I get to photograph these love stories, your love stories. Thank you. Now, settle in. It is another long one.

If you made it this far, I appreciate you! Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!
