Raphaelle + Bennett’s intimate backyard Hyde Park wedding

Raphaelle and Bennett’s small, but mighty, celebration was filled to the brim with joy, tears and all the love. The ceremony and reception were held in the bride’s parent’s backyard. How great is that? Due to the pandemic, their family from abroad couldn’t make it, so they zoomed with them. Their dog was the ring bearer and barked on queue during all the big moments and the trip to the lakefront was absolute perfection.

On my drive down, the skies opened up with a downpour for the ages, but cleared quickly. It stopped raining just in time for their vows in the backyard and then the sun came out in time for the portraits by the lake. Phew! What a perfect day!
